Pride Dog Show 2008...
review
Once again the Pride Dog Show kicks off the Summer's festivities (albeit in the rain!) with what has quickly become the highlight of the gay calendar for local dog owners!
Dogs from across Brighton and Hove dragged their owners to Hove RFC for a fun filled day under the dark skies. Along with stalls from companies such as Doggy Fashion and PDSA there was fun for everyone.
The day kicked off with a fashion show of this year's contestants, followed by an agility obstacle course!
After the fun and games had ended, the serious business got under way... the major competitions! Under official Kennel Club rules there were a range of categories that the dogs could enter under. Categories such as favourite pedigree, novelty and my personal favourite, 'best dressed' were all included.
If I had my way; I definitely would have taken every single dog home with me today. To say that they were ALL adorable would be an understatement.
All in all though, apart from the wash-out weather and coming home smelling like the back end of a... well... dog! The day was a huge success.
